Snow day with Chay




One of my son likes it hot, one likes it cold. Today there is no work for me and a fun-filled homeschooling day for Chay! We practiced writing and spelling his first and last name. He also work on his reading today and we had lots of fun doing it. He is a very tactile learner so we practiced writing his name in the snow. He is also a big cuddler so afterwards we had hot cocoa with marshmallows and enjoyed our special time together.
I am trying to enjoy my last few months before he heads off to kindergarten. It's something to be happy and a little sad at the same time. I love my boy!

Building marriages with Date Night In Box!

We were so excited to be gifted our first date box from Date Night In!! Ours was a date night in faith box too! It is so fabulous when people recognize the beauty of marriage and encouraging that union and that is exactly what this box did for us! *This blogpost contains information from our affiliate sponsor and prize eligibility* The box topic was FOUNDATION. Some of us are used to chaos in our marriages. It is normal to fight daily and to struggle with communicating regularly. For many, the enemy has a space in your bed, a seat in your car and is welcomed into your home by way of several types of media. The devil is that third person in some relationships and we do not even recognize him. Well, I do not know about you, but I do not want him anywhere close to me or my marriage! The good news is that if we have a relationship with Jesus Christ, we have authority over the enemy even in our marriages. We need to kick the devil out!
